The musician Xavier Blanco arrives to them Islands C\u00edes at the beginning of them 70, when had 8 years and his father worked in the mythical boat “O Sicas”. Javier runs Cies to show each of the musical instruments which he made himself and used as a child. Each piece musical that sings or plays is performed with instruments made by himself with natural \u00a0materials. His daily life was in harmony with natural environment.<\/div>\n

Native of Moa\u00f1a, land of Morrazo, Mestre Gaiteiro and Technical in Traditional Culture of the Concello of Moa\u00f1a, Xavier Blanco operates and generates a \u00a0school workshop of \u00a0galician musical \u00a0instruments a social value that guarantees the recovery, maintenance and dissemination of the cultural \u00a0folk of Galician traditions . Learned to make music with natural elements at \u00a0Cies Islands and found that life on the island was different to the life of the peninsula because of \u00a0the special fusion that had the music-nature, away the superficiality and materialism. For him the music is an element integrator with medium,which some considered that is in the Cies where begins the work of recovery of our music of root.<\/div>\n
