Fog at dawn is the first album by Piquin (Jesús Pintos Capeans), composer, singer and guitarist, is not dedicated professionally to music, although it is and musician feels. Twenty years writing songs have resulted in this disc which includes themes of different stages of life. “Alone on the road”, “Labyrinth”, “Black Pearl” or “We go to the sea” are some of the issues that we find in this album.
Their lyrics speak of love, heartbreak, loneliness, existence, doubt, the Kafkaesque, changes and turns giving life. A disc that talks about life, songs that reflect how things over the years, look at times, with some philosophical nod and is there a place for the irony. In short, a few letters with personality and life in the heartbreaking voice of Piqui, accompanied by great musicians, with Álvaro Lamas on the pedal steel, Leandro Deltell on drums and the own Piquin with electric guitar. All under the musical direction of Segundo Grandío, who also points to accompany with the Netherlands and additional keyboards. A set resulting in a disk that has an eclectic component also on styles, times, harmonies and lyrics, in a thread of British production that unites all.
